These were my second choice anyway, can’t be too dissatisfied.<\/p>\nAfter too many hours of research, finally decided on the Michelin Anakee IIs. \u00a0Ordered them and scheduled to have them mounted and such with the 12K service.<\/p>\n
Turns out, these are on back order. \u00a0Michelin has an odd approach to inventory.<\/p>\n
Went with the Metzeler Tourances, front and back. \u00a0These were my second choice anyway, can’t be too dissatisfied.<\/p>\n
Count me shocked at how odd these things felt. \u00a0I stopped before I left the parking lot to make sure one wasn’t flat!<\/p>\n
I know, new tires are slick. \u00a0These things? \u00a0Before I got home I was wondering if I could get a refund or exchange. \u00a0Not something I wanted to ride for the next couple thousand miles.<\/p>\n
They started to feel better and now, with about 300 miles on them, they’ll do. \u00a0I can’t say anything for off-road or even rain yet, but dry, they’re holding on much better.<\/p>\n
